Joseph R. Wilkins, Founder, President, and CEO – Joe grew up in the Chicagoland area, graduated from Loyola University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree majoring in finance, and began his career at the Chicago Board of Trade in 1984.  He became a member in 1987 and established himself as a top step Treasury bond trader that same year.  With the advent of electronic trading in 2000, Joe went off the floor in 2002 and founded R Best in 2004.

Zhivko Gochev, Quantitative Strategist– Zhivko was born and raised in Bulgaria and relocated to the United States in 1998.  He holds permanent resident status.  He graduated from Northeastern Illinois University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in finance and received a Master of Science degree majoring in Financial Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology in 2006.  He has been actively involved with the financial markets and building automated algorithmic trading systems since 2004.

Mary Lou Pier, CFO – Mary Lou grew up in the Chicagoland area, graduated from Loyola University in 1975 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree majoring in accounting, earned her Certified Public Accounting certificate in 1976, and currently owns and operates a highly regarded CPA firm in Chicago, Illinois.  She is also an owner in R Best LLC.
